Matthew M. Neyland
CFA, Director of Investments
Matthew is a member of SKM Wealth Management team having joined as Director of Investments in the spring of 2008. He has over twenty years of experience managing clients’ investments. Matthew’s past clients included individuals, pension plans, banks, insurance companies and corporations. He has experience with a wide variety of investment securities types including equities, fixed income, and alternative assets.
Matthew oversees all of the firm’s investment management activities. His work encompasses research on the financial markets, the design of investment policies, building client portfolios, execution of trades, and monitoring the portfolios.
Matthew is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. In addition, he has his NASD Series 7 - General Securities license, Series 3 - Commodities and Futures license, and Series 66 - Registered Investment Advisor license.
In the community, Matthew served a nine-year term as the treasurer of Family Services of Greater Boston, a non-profit provider of family development and support services for poor and working-poor families. He also serves as the vice president of operations and as a youth coach for Mendon-Upton Youth Lacrosse.
Matthew earned his masters of business administration from Northeastern University and a bachelor of science degree in business management from Ithaca College.
